Weather is warming up here in LaGrange Ga , making for some great days. Can't wait till spring comes. Great news is owning a flowershop spring comes early! we are already starting to get our spring flowers in. Also went to chamber meeting on 3/50 project and WOW we are supporting it all the way!

To many florist are ripping people off at Valentines

ok, got my prices in for Valentines roses and came up with fair market value, called all local florist in this area and learned that the average dozen roses for valentines will be double and triple our store cost, when asking our customers advice they were honest and said that we might have to charge alittle more that we want to, so that we don't look to cheap!!! ( our price would be alittle less than walmart if we did the right mark-up) Since when is it ok to mark up a rose 500 and 600 % like most florist are doing and get away with it, why does someone trying to do the right thing, have to look cheap! any advice would be well recieved on how to make a statement that some people are really still honest out here!
